Catalans living in Scotland are planning to make a human chain to protest their need for independence from Spain this weekend.
And this week activists are trying to get the message across to locals and Catalans to join their chain and their movement and support their independence goal which will take place this Sunday 25th of August at 4.30 p.m. in Calton Hill, Edinburgh. ANC-Scotland keeps the initial meeting in front of the Scottish Parliament at 4 p.m. .
Many people attended the ANC-Scotland’s first meeting, in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, on Saturday 17th of August at 11 a.m., and the main eventwas close to the Scottish Parliament around Arthur’s Seat area. The group of supporters, read a statement and sang the Catalan national anthem; some were Catalans living in Edinburgh and other several places of Scotland – and some were Catalan tourists.
